After several years of refurbishing and then renting out our first house, ‘Le Charme du Cher’ (www.leCharmeduCher.nl), we decided to emigrate. In 2016, we started looking for a second home in France.

After a long search, we found ‘Le Corbier’. Then everything started, and we sold our house in Sittard, quitted our jobs and left for France in 2017 to build our new future here.

After a thorough renovation, ‘Gîte le Corbier’ was ready for rental and in 2018, the Chambre d’Hôtes (bed & breakfast) was also completed. Every year, something has been added and/or renewed to improve our little paradise. More recently, ‘La Bulle des Alpagas’ was added in 2024.
We love to pamper our guests and ensure their holidays are an unforgettable success. Our Limburg roots ensure that what we offer suits our guests. This is evidenced by the many great reviews on various booking sites. (including the traveller-review-award at Booking with a rating of 9.6 out of 10 in 2025, super host at AirBnB and the label ‘Chambre d’hôtes réference’ and a 3 out of 5-star rating from the French government).
