Visit a race or try yourself at the Magny-Cours circuit

The famous circuit is some 45 km south from Gîte Le Corbier. Magny-Cours is today not only one of the most prestigious car, motorbike circuits in the world, but also offers a vast complex of go-kart tracks open daily. Furthermore, Magny-Cours offers the possibility, for experienced drivers, of attending driving safety training courses (think of a skid course, for example).

And if you happen to own a circuit-worthy car (a BMW M3 or a Lamborghini), you can go on the track by yourself for a “small” fee, about €660. Coaching is included. Of course, you can also book a “normal” tour of the track through the Nevers tourist office.

Of course, sports enthusiasts can expend their energy in several places:
Some of the possibilities: there are a number of adventure parks nearby, a cycle trail on the preserved former railway track from Cosne-sur-Loire to Bourges.
The hiking and cycling routes already mentioned, and exploring the Loire River on a canoe. Several towns propose geocaching routes, there is the Saint-Satur golf course for the enthusiast ones. In short, too much to mention.
